The Frankfurter Gründerfonds is a successful scheme run by the City of Frankfurt am Main. The fund has been successfully helping founders to finance their business ideas since 2010 with free-of-charge pre-launch assistance, a guarantee for 80% of the required loan amount and follow-up mentoring over the entire term of the loan.

Innovation and talent can be found throughout our city – and it is essential that it is given due recognition. By awarding the Frankfurter Gründerpreis, Frankfurt Economic Development seeks to support founders and young companies and motivate them to set up their own business. Every year, three outstanding new businesses based in Frankfurt are awarded a total of 30,000 euros.

To date, many young companies have succeeded in impressing the jury with their ideas before going on to capture the interest of a new target group.
